NIELIT ‘O’ Level Course (Govt. Recognized Foundation Course)
Admission Process
Admission will be confirmed only upon submission of proof of having successfully passed the required qualifying examination. Admissions are granted based on merit, a written test, and an interview. Candidates appearing in the final examination of Class 8th, 10th, or 12th, Polytechnic / ITI are also eligible to appear for the entrance examination for various NIELIT courses.
Special Admission for OBC Category
As per the guidelines of the Backward Class Welfare Department, a special admission scheme has been introduced for candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
This initiative aims to enhance the skills of OBC youth, thereby improving their employment opportunities. The program is designed to provide better access to education and training, empowering them to compete effectively in the job market.
NIELIT Protsahan Puraskar Scheme
The NIELIT Protsahan Puraskar Scheme is applicable to eligible candidates belonging to the SC/ST, PWD, and Female categories.
Under this scheme, the Protsahan Puraskar amount shall be awarded to eligible candidates in two installments:
- First installment (50%) — disbursed after successfully passing the examination.
- Second installment (50%) — disbursed after submission of valid proof of employment secured after passing the examination.
